Public Warned Not To Wear North Face Jackets In Case They Are Mistaken For BBC Journalists

BBC bosses are warning members of the public not to wear North Face jackets because of fears they may be mistaken for journalists and expected to ask ridiculous questions. Concerns were raised when a man wearing one of the tell-tale jackets was mobbed by a crowd of commuters at a bus stop eager to tell him how they would feel if their children were killed when using poorly maintained public transport.

A secret deal between the BBC and North Face has always been suspected as 90% of presenters wear the expensive coats whenever on location but an executive working for both companies stated, 'There are definitely no ongoing long-term revenue generation extraction policy initiatives between the two companies. Even if there was my colleges and I would not be happy to immediately exploit them.' He continued, 'Though normal citizens should keep buying as many of the expensive all-weather jackets as possible in the future it will be safer to only wear them indoors to avoid any possible confusion.'

Sir Graham Paddle, Managing Director of the BBC's commercial profiteering division, denied allegations of product placement claiming, 'These preposterous charges are totally groundless. The BBC would never willingly place certain products on its programs. All the relevant information regarding our strict broadcasting guidelines can be found on our website and can be viewed on the new Apple I pad currently available at Currys for an unbeatable £9.99.'
